Video chat rules and safety
Video chat is for adults 18 and older. Nudity, harassment, hate and anything involving minors are not allowed. Moderators see live snapshots of video chats and can end a chat or ban someone on the spot. If a stranger breaks the rules, press the red Report flag on their video: the chat ends straight away and a moderator reviews it. Your video goes directly to the other person and is never recorded.
Video chat or text chat?
Video chat is the closest thing to meeting someone in person: you see their face, hear their voice and can read their reactions. Text chat needs no camera or microphone and keeps you completely anonymous, which suits quiet places or shy days. Video chats are moderated live and have a Report button; text chats are private and their messages aren't stored. You can switch between them at any time from the home page.
